it's been 5 months since i started learning japanese. i can read hiragana now, a bit of katakana, and tiny bit of kanji. i used to hate kanji but now i'm happy to learn it. it's difficult for me to have a basic conversation in japanese. i don't know a lot of basic vocabulary. actually, i was stuck for awhile because i didn't know which vocabulary to learn. i keep telling myself that since i just started learning, it's okay to make mistakes and don't worry so much about it and yet i still worry. i have made a lot of japanese friends though through the PS3 and Skype.
